Sight Tape Gen is a web-based tool that generates custom sight tapes for single-pin slider bow sights. Instead of shooting at every distance and manually marking your sight, you enter your bow's speed and sight radius — and we calculate every mark mathematically, with optional density altitude correction for high-elevation hunting.
The result is a printable tape you can cut out, stick to your sight housing, and trust in the field. Every mark is calculated to within fractions of an inch, using the same physics-based formula used by professional archery technicians.
Slider sights are the most precise aiming system available to bowhunters — but dialling one in traditionally takes hours of range time and a lot of arrows. Commercial sight tape software either costs money, requires a desktop app, or produces tapes that aren't physically accurate when printed.
We built Sight Tape Gen to be the tool we always wanted: free, browser-based, works on any device, prints at exact physical scale, and accounts for the density altitude changes that affect arrow trajectory at elevation.
