These Terms of Service govern your use of the Sight Tape Gen website located at www.sighttape.nz ("the Site"), operated by Sight Tape Gen ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site immediately.

Sight Tape Gen provides a free online bow sight tape generator and related tools for archers and bowhunters. You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

Most features of Sight Tape Gen do not require registration. Data you enter (bow specs, arrow speed, saved setups) is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. We do not have access to this data, and it is deleted if you clear your browser storage.

3. Paid Features

Certain features require a one-time or subscription payment, processed securely via Stripe. By purchasing access, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. All prices are listed in New Zealand dollars (NZD) unless otherwise stated.

Purchased access is stored in your browser's localStorage and tied to your device. We are unable to transfer or restore access if you clear your browser data, change devices, or use a different browser. All purchases are final — we do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law.

4. Accuracy of Calculations

The sight tapes, trajectories, and ballistic calculations generated by this Site are approximations based on the inputs you provide. Results may vary based on real-world conditions including arrow consistency, environmental factors, equipment tolerances, and shooting form. Always verify your sight tape on the range before use in the field.

Sight Tape Gen is not liable for missed shots, equipment damage, property damage, personal injury, or any other harm resulting from use of the Site's calculations or generated sight tapes.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and all tools are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sight Tape Gen and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
